Podium at the Formula Ford Festival!

​An absolutely amazing event, that started off pretty badly. I qualified 3rd for my heat and headed into the first corner in 3rd when the leading duo touched, I dived into the gravel trap to avoid contact and rejoined the race dead last, but still in the race.

After an absolutely amazing recovery drive, setting fastest lap and scything my way through the field I managed to work my way back into 3rd position!!

Another podium in the Semi-Final saw me starting 5th for the Grand Final. The final was absolute carnage, I managed to survive in 3rd position and was closing right up onto the leading duo when the red flags came out ending the race. It's a shame the race didn't last the full distance but it's an absolutely amazing feeling to make the podium in this event!
